The ground rules for using BotShopHQ.

If you use botshophq.com, you're agreeing to these terms.

US customers only

BotShopHQ serves, and sells to, customers in the United States only. If you're outside the US, you're welcome to read the site. We just don't offer sponsor placements or other paid services outside the US.

We're independent

BotShopHQ isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify Inc., xAI or any creator we list. Shopify and Grok are trademarks of their owners.

Listings are information, provided as is

• Bots, apps and connector rows come from public sources. They can change or break.
• Bot descriptions are quoted from each creator's share page. "Not tested yet" means we haven't tested it.
• Check out any bot or app before you connect it to your store.
• You use third-party bots and apps at your own risk, under their own terms.

Links to other sites

We link to creators' share pages, app sites and official documentation. We don't control those sites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

How we make money

Some links may be affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra. Sponsored placements are always labeled "Sponsored." Payment never changes a capability status or a review. Free listings stay free.

Sending us a bot or a sponsor inquiry

When you send us a bot or a sponsor inquiry, you're confirming the info is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You also agree that we may publish, edit, quote or decline your submission. We review free listings by hand. Sending one in doesn't guarantee it gets listed. We may remove any listing at any time.

Sponsors

Paid placements run on our sponsor order terms. You see and accept them before you pay. They cover the price, automatic renewal (only if you turn it on), cancelling, refunds and limits on liability. Sponsor payments go through Stripe's checkout. We never see your full card number. If the sponsor order and these terms ever disagree, the sponsor order wins for your placement.

Play fair

Don't submit spam, malware, or illegal or misleading bots, and don't submit anything you don't have the rights to.

No warranty

We work hard to keep things accurate and current, but the site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows:

• We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site.
• We're not liable for anything a third-party bot or app does to your store.
• For free use of the site, our total liability for any claim is capped at $100.
• For a sponsor placement, the sponsor order's limit applies. Our total liability is capped at what you paid under that order in the 12 months before the claim.

Our content and other people's

The site's design and text, and the way the directory is put together, belong to BotShopHQ. Quoted creator descriptions and other companies' trademarks belong to their owners. Feel free to share links. Please don't scrape or copy the whole directory.

Fix or remove a listing

See something wrong, or something of yours that shouldn't be here? Email info@botshophq.com with the page link and what to change.

California law

California law governs these terms. Only the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, can hear a dispute about these terms or the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new effective date will show at the top. If you keep using the site after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.
